Within our Early Years Centre we pride ourselves on the warm, welcoming and nurturing ethos of our staff and environment. The children are offered rich and exciting play and learning opportunities, indoors, outdoors and within their community. To enhance this, wellbeing and the rights of the children are an important and visible aspect of our Early Years Centre.

Transition into the Early Years Centre within Uphall Primary School
As soon as we have your information from Pupil Placement our Early Years Officer, Mrs Baird, will contact you. You and your child will then be given an opportunity to meet the team and visit the environment before your start date. During this visit you will receive an information pack about the Early Years Centre.
Transition into P1 at Uphall Primary School
We have fantastic transition opportunities from the Early Years Centre, and partner nurseries, into Primary 1. Further details will be available within our policy tab from January onwards.

Friday - 8.50am until 11.40am
Afternoon Session:
Monday to Friday - 12.09pm - 4.06pm
Please note that the nursery door opens 10 minutes before the end of the session for parents/carers to collect their children and to reduce congestion.
