P2- Thursday 28th May

Hola P2,

Today we will be carrying on our languages theme!

Maths- Data Handling

Using your knowledge of tally marks, tables and bar/block graphs, read my dream holiday information and interpret the data (answer questions about it. Remember to write on blog which holiday destination I should book for my family and friends!

Data Handling

Literacy

Today, I’ll ask you to read a postcard with some Spanish vocabulary and answer some questions about it.  Then I’ll ask you to write your own postcard using French or Spanish phrases you have learned this week (or another language of your choice).

Postcard from Spain from teachers

Reading:

  1. What did we do to cool down?
  2. What is the weather like in Barcelona?
  3. What sport did we watch at a huge stadium?
  4. What did we have to eat?

You can tell someone your answers, write them in your jotter or on a piece of paper.

Writing:

Miss Anderson, Mrs BP, Miss Hall and I sent you a (pretend) postcard from Spain.  Decide where you’d like to send a postcard from and try to include some new language words/phrases you have learned this week.  We’d love you to send us your work.  Maybe you could ask us some questions to check our language knowledge!  Remember when we write a holiday postcard we should include at least one activity and comment on the weather. At least the weather is lovely today so it should be easier to pretend you’re on holiday!  You can write on paper or in your jotter.
